How to take great photos for a quote
A few quick snaps and we can give you a fixed price, usually within the hour. No fancy camera needed, your phone is perfect.
Step back, get the whole pile in
One wide shot of everything together is more useful than ten close-ups. We're trying to gauge volume, not identify each item.
Take 3, 4 angles
Front, side, and a wider room shot. Different angles help us see depth and how much space the load really takes up.
Good light helps
Open the curtains or pop the main light on. Try not to shoot straight into a bright window, it makes everything look like a silhouette.
Pop something in for scale
A person, a chair, or a wheelie bin in the frame instantly tells us how big the pile is.
Snap awkward items on their own
Fridges, freezers, mattresses, pianos, sheds, hot tubs, a separate photo of these helps us bring the right kit and team.
Multiple rooms? Send a quick video
