A rubbish collection matched to your clear-out
Rubbish removal is useful when you have unwanted contents to collect but do not need a whole property emptied. It might be bags left after a tidy-up, furniture from a room change or a mixture of items stored in a garage. Start by showing everything that should leave. A photograph of only the nearest pile can miss waste elsewhere at the address. Tell us whether the items are together or spread across different rooms. We assess that agreed scope and handle the loading, transport and licensed disposal for the collection.
Published load sizes and weight limits
Our rubbish removal starting price is £89, which is also the published Mini Load price for 1 yd³ and up to 75 kg. Small is £149 for 2 yd³ and up to 150 kg. Medium is £189 for 4 yd³ and up to 300 kg. Larger options are £259, £359 and £429, with allowances shown in the price table. The separate Single item collection option starts at £49. These limits describe the available loads, not an unlimited collection at a fixed starting price. We check your waste before confirming the quote.
Mixed waste needs a clear description
A general rubbish pile can contain different materials, from light packaging to heavy DIY waste. List furniture, appliances, garden material and rubble separately in your enquiry. Weight matters as well as the space taken in the vehicle, so a small dense pile may not fit the allowance you expect. Mattresses, fridges and upholstered items can have an area-dependent surcharge. Include these in the first photos rather than adding them after a price is agreed. Ask about unfamiliar materials before booking so the team can explain whether the standard collection accepts them.
Loading from the place where the rubbish is stored
You do not have to load a skip or carry every item outside before contacting us. Explain whether the waste is indoors, upstairs, in a rear garden or beside a driveway. The team needs to know about stairs, lifts, narrow passages and the carrying route. Include parking details and the full address. A clear photo of the entrance can help explain access that is hard to describe. If a customer will not be at the property, collection instructions and entry arrangements need agreeing with the team beforehand rather than being assumed.
Local collection pages across Essex
Clear It is based in Southend-on-Sea and the town pages describe our existing collection areas. Use the local links below to check information for Southend, Leigh-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-Sea, Rayleigh, Benfleet and Rochford. Each address still needs its own quote and confirmed collection date. Southend seafront parking, upstairs Westcliff flats or narrower approaches around Leigh can require different loading plans. Giving us those details at the start is more useful than selecting a town alone. Our service is arranged around the actual waste and access at the property.
Timing, changes and booking the collection
Contact the team if you need the rubbish gone promptly. Same-day and next-day collections are available, but a slot has to be confirmed before you rely on it. The same-day service advises getting in touch before 11am so availability can be checked. An enquiry is a request for a quote, not a reserved vehicle. If you add another pile after sending photos, send an update before collection. The written price must reflect all the items and materials agreed for removal. This avoids treating an earlier estimate as covering a different job.
Licensed disposal and your collection record
Clear It holds Upper Tier Waste Carrier licence CBDU631149 and £5m public liability insurance. Collected waste goes through licensed disposal routes, with suitable items directed towards reuse or recycling where possible. A written waste transfer note is provided for the collection. Keep it with your quote if you are arranging work for a landlord, agent or another property contact. Standard rubbish removal does not accept asbestos, chemicals, gas bottles, clinical waste or paint in bulk. Check uncertain items with the team before booking so an unsuitable material is not added to the agreed load.
