A collection for renovation and building waste
Building work can leave a mixture of materials that need removing together. Photograph rubble, tiles, timber, plasterboard and old fittings as separate parts of the collection. A kitchen rip-out or bathroom replacement may leave waste in several locations, so include each pile rather than only the bags outside. Clear It handles the loading for the agreed job without a skip being kept on site. Tell us whether work is finished or more waste is still being produced. The quote needs to describe the contents that will actually be ready when the crew arrives.
The service price and general load allowances
Builders waste removal is advertised from £129 on the existing service page. The general load list starts at £89 for Mini and runs through £149, £189, £259 and £359 to £429 for XX-Large. These prices describe general allowances, not a guarantee that rubble can be collected for the smallest listed price. Both weight and volume need assessing for construction materials. Use the table below to understand available space and kilogram limits, then send details for the fixed written quote. A free site visit is available where the collection needs assessment in person.
Weight can limit a dense collection
Rubble, paving and soil can reach a vehicle allowance without filling the available space. Mini is 1 yd³ with up to 75 kg, while XX-Large is 14 yd³ with up to 1000 kg. Neither figure means that the whole space can be filled with unlimited dense waste. Explain what sacks contain and show loose material clearly. If a collection combines lighter timber with heavy rubble, list both. The team assesses the load against the actual materials and access. A photograph is useful, but the appearance of a pile cannot confirm its weight alone.
Plasterboard, timber and materials to check
Tell us when plasterboard is included rather than describing all the waste as rubble. The existing builders service accepts timber, tiles and renovation materials, but exclusions still apply. Asbestos, chemicals, gas bottles, clinical waste and paint in bulk are not part of the standard collection. Ask about unfamiliar materials before booking, particularly where you cannot identify their composition. Keep tools and usable building supplies apart from waste authorised for removal. This avoids confusion during loading and allows the quote to describe the right disposal requirements rather than a different mix encountered on the day.
Access on residential and trade sites
Waste may be inside a property, behind a building or beside a driveway. Tell us which route the crew will use and whether there are stairs, narrow passages or a long carry. A flat refurbishment needs floor and lift details as well as the street address. Photograph the entrance and explain where our vehicle can stop. If a builder is arranging the job for a customer, provide the agreed site contact and access instructions. The team needs to know who can authorise the collection before moving contents from a site with several people involved.
Local coverage and trade arrangements
The local links below cover our existing collection areas, including Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-Sea, Rayleigh, Benfleet and Rochford. The town pages describe coverage, while the quote still depends on the actual site and waste. Trade accounts are available through our trade service. Contact the team if you need rubbish removed before another stage of work starts, and confirm the slot rather than assuming a same-day enquiry is booked. If additional rubble or boards appear after assessment, send new photographs before collection so the complete amount can be checked.
Disposal paperwork for your project
Clear It holds Upper Tier Waste Carrier licence CBDU631149 and £5m public liability insurance. Waste goes through licensed disposal routes, with suitable material directed towards recycling where possible. A written waste transfer note is supplied for the collection. Keep it with the project records if you are working for a client, landlord or agent. The accepted written price covers the agreed loading, transport and disposal. A clear scope, access arrangement and contents list give everyone the same understanding of the job, rather than leaving the crew to decide what belongs in an unlabelled pile.
